THE CRYSTAL CRYPT
The first flutter of a frozen wing
Led her legs to leap into spring
No longer earth bound, she left the land
Alas, this butterfly fell into thy hand
Trapping her beauty, her liberty fled
Eternally dying, yet already dead
Encase thy wings into transformation
Perfection deemed her ultimate destination
This crystalloid crypt had trapped her trip
Sealing her doom, her final days slipped
Contained in glass
She choked and gasped
Clutching onto her fading past
Stagnant tears then fell
From the butterflies rain, into thy hell
Cocooned in solace once again
Where silent screams forever remain
