Daddy's little girl

Daddy's little girl

My dad is the nicest guy you would meet

He’s the toughest guy no one could beat

With his eyes blue like the sky

And knows every answer to every why

Today is a different day

His eyes are no longer blue they are grey

I give him a hug to cheer him up

He gives me a hug back I think its daddy love

Then he closes his bedroom door

And tells me to put my clothes on the floor

What happened to my dad?

I wonder why he is mad.

He pins me down to his bed

Tears run down my cheek when I saw blood on the bedspread

I go to my room and I cry

He told me if I told anyone I would die

My real dad left that day

The one I wished to never go away

He was no longer my superman

He was no longer the one I called dad

I was daddy’s little girl

That all changed when he broke my world.
