Daffodils

She frolics in a field of daffodils,
A sea of amber onΒ rolling hills
Merriment on the tides of morrow
Her tears are happy not sorrow
Teardrops fall among laughter
Dancing happily ever after,
Her fairy-tale is in the dizzy gold
A bouquet of fragrance enfold
A white lace bellows in her wake
No gloom will mar or break
Flowers cheer as she waltzes by
Bowing a serendipitous sigh.
A piqued sun peeps with curiosity
Ruining the rainy clouds animosity
Beaming down on her upturned face
An angel has bestowed her grace
Kaleidoscope feathers unfurl
Harnessing the wind's twirl
She hums such a lovely tune
Rapture hung the moon

Hello Lisa...
Very beautiful write!Β
It brings back to when I was a little girl, before the first hurts and...
The grass would grow so tall and all the pretty flowers my mom called weeds...
I remember so clearly her yelling to my Dad...
Fred the grass is up to her waist...
It's time to mow the lawn...
Thank you for the memories...
Hugs...
