And, I tore the sky from the ocean and drown in the silence between.
I covered the sun with a blanket of night and hid the moon under the sand

beating frantically it voyaged the long and arduous journey

I crushed the stars one by one along the way, stardust falling
the remnants lay sparkling in the evening of your eyes

Reaching your shores, I trembled with the thought
of drinking champagne with a sunset;Β
yet I was met with an arid airless dessertβ¦
I had longed to smile in the rain
to dance with your thunder
but the storm was slumbering in eternal sleepβ¦
