DARK CLOUDS: Williamsji Maveli Poem
Then She Arrives

Upon a breezy, cold and somber night,
Dark clouds obscure the sky with heavy sighs.
My heart, a canvas steeped in shadowed plight,
Is draped in shades of pain beneath the skies.
Then she arrives, a treasure I had sought,
Her love, a light that pierces through my gloom.
In vibrant hues, my dreariness is caught,
Her presence brightens every dimmest room.
She is my rainbow, arching bold and rare,
With colors rich and beauty to behold.
Her touch dispels the night’s relentless snare,
And wraps my soul in warmth against the cold.
In laughter’s melody, my heart takes flight,
For she’s my rainbow, turning dark to light.
