Poem -

Darker Days

It's been a long hard road
And I'm out of tune
Who cares about the weather
When it's not present with you

And as your name disintegrates from my lips,
Ive got lead pellets sealed up in six wombs
The last gift you'll leave me?
The memories of you and I in this room

And as the touch from your flesh fades away from my skin,
A solitary confinement is what's in bloom
I'd rather be your victim than be your noose
And have you wear someone else's abuse
