Poem -

Darkness holds

Darkness holds

Within the folds

Of my twisted soul

It burns with anger like embers a flame

In the fiery Pitt of hell

sounds of anguished souls of the damned,

Creep inside my head

Miserable and all alone

my soul darkens so

Demented beings of hate and lust,

rakes my body and breaks my bones

contemplation I cannot trust.

For a world once close to heaven.

Now Useless and over bearing,

Chains and pains of torture

Are what I articulate for pleasure.

Once a good man

Now a condemned man

And no one gives a hell

I'd tell you I don't give a damn

For it was given to me

A key to the gates of hell

Lost and never to be found

Hidden in the deepest well

Guarded by a vehement hellhound

Souls come in

Never out

Your water tin always barren

Sleepless nights from perilless shouts

And scores

Of sores

 Oozing and seeping

The puss of infection

And no hopes of redemption

No escape from this grotesque conception

For the darkness holds

And always folds

Only fools are bold

To conquer it

You won't prevail

For I know

A demon ate your entrails

Don't fight or flee

For Hell will never set you free

For darkness holds

And and never folds.
