Poem -

DEAR WORKER

My boss told me that it's a costcutting exercise
The business dear worker needs to downsize
We cannot compete with the likes of Japan
That dear worker is why I'm letting you go my man

Many dear workers will be gone by the end of the year
So much anxiety leading to stress and fear
My boss will be okay I have no doubt
A golden handshake is what I'm talking about

Will he care for his dear workers every night?
When he sleeps on his pillow and turns off the light
The answer to my question is a resounding no
Bosses and dear workers never agree as history will show
