Deception

To find yourself amidst deception

as your the one that's been deceived

feels like the world is laughing at you

truth has died and now you're aggrieved

When trust is gone, its hard to win back

families come close to falling apart

forgiveness does not come too easy

such sadness rips away at your heart

All these emotions need to be talked through

everything to be laid on the table

honesty is the best for all of us

what's important is a family that's stable

For talking things through with each other

is always the best course of action

from this point, all untruths needs to cease

this family needs some satisfaction

Please take heed with this little poem

will lies hurt someone along the way?

think before you make a decision

so remember that lying doesn't pay
