Desire House

Desire House

Once I closed the door

And the night became serious

I breathed the air like it was water

I closed the door and I wondered more

About where I might go to be a drama

It's not everyday that I can be

As serious as an opera death

It's a cold, cold memory that burns

It follows me, it's taunting

Her pretty face still haunting

My endeavor is so daunting

I stop

I look back at the house

It looks like it was made by no one

Except us

You and me

So, say you can't see

Between the closed doors and windows

It is open

It is on fire, full of desire

Thoughts of you are taunting

Dreams of you, haunting

My love for you is daunting

And I never stop

Hello Michael...

This is Beautiful!

It reminds me of the song...

Just The Two Of Us...

Building castles in the sky...

Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, Sparrowsong! I'll have to look up that song. It does sound familiar. Thanks for reading!
