Differences of sight

What if I don’t want to be in love
What if I was only looking for fun
How do I tell you I don’t want what you want
Without hurting your precious soul
What is the consequence of my decision
What is the end result of that kiss?
I wanted one night
You wanted a lifetime
Looks like cupid missed
What if someone else is still in my heart?
Someone I cannot have.
I cannot use you to fill that space
Where is that fair?
Where is that kind?
But I was taught,
If you can’t say anything nice,
Don’t say anything at all.
So I keep quiet…
