Dignity

Dignity

Our native tongue speaks with pride, respect, honor and dignity

Long has the white shadows been, though our spirits live on through the hills

The trails of our horses and our red skin belief of a promised land we share

Let our nation know us from past to present that we lived in dignity

Not in pity or shame, with all our souls content we will meet again

At the hills of the mountain side where our Cherokee pride never dies

For dignity lives forever
