does it seem fair

Take a look at that man
And tell me what you see
Dirty and unshaven
Nothing like you or me
His days go unnoticedÂ
His words are the same
You hear people say
Its himself he has to blame
The pain gets too much
So he drinks and injects
If only to get some sleepÂ
If only too forget
The addiction gets too muchÂ
He steals just to feed
His family have left him
Just a sorry heart left to bleed
Now he lays dead in a heap on the floor
He finally accepted he couldn’t take it no moreÂ
Now he has a name
A family who all care
But its now all too late
Tell me,does that seem fair?

"Just a sorry heart left to bleed,"

None of us has the God given right to cast judgement or aspersions on anyone, Grace, nor should we even try.
My Grandma Cook was dirt poor but never failed to give a homeless person money when it was asked for. She would always shake her head sadly and whisper, "My law...there but for the grace of God go I."
I never really understood what she meant by that at the time as I was very young.
But I learned as I grew older—the hard way!
Now, I understand completely.

No, not in the slightest! Isn’t it sad just how many people we see, and also don’t see!, who have no family present in their time of need, nor care. Touching words & very well written x
