"Don't Wait"

"Don't Wait"

"From addiction,
we are waking up.
At first it was,
a pleasent daydream,
but by the end,
we all did scream,
for a waking nightmare,
enveloped our soul,
stoaked by the,
fires of Hell,
amassed sulfur and coal.

To look in the mirror,
at what we became,
behind our bodies,
were so many bodies,
were so many flames,
and yet we chose,
to stay the same,
for it was,
a familiar pain.

A situation won't change,
until you change,
and I believe,
you are so much more,
than all those drugs,
you stand for.

Don't wait,
staring at the light,
coming from that open door.
Start this journey,
with your feet,
planted firmly,
on the floor,
and walk by faith,
and not by sight,
into the door,
washed by God's Light."
