Dream Sequence

Dream Sequence

I designed a house for a rich Chennai family,
they had a a daughter called Shiva with eyes of mystery,
she said; 'Can I have pink walls in my bedroom,
and white shelves for my teddy bears? I said: 'Of course.'

She asked: 'Will you take me to England to be your wife?''
I said: 'I'm sorry, I can't do that, I'm already committed,
she said: 'If you don't do as I ask, I'll tell my parents
that you abused me and you will leave this house in shame.'

I could not believe what I heard, had to take action;
the house was finished, they had a party with glasses clinking,
I placed some poison in Shiva's glass and she collapsed,
pronounced dead, I attended the funeral and I was gone.

I was waiting at Chennai Airport, it was all over,
just as I was ready to leave, I felt a hand on my shoulder
