Dreams of Vigils

In between the blankets you soundly sleep
dreams of vigils that we both  lovers do keep
While all the night, I whispers your name,
The tender mind does every nerve inflame,
Visualizations brings me all your charms,
The plenteous silken hair, and waxen arms,
The well turned neck, and snowy breast
And all the beauties that supinely rest
Oh my dream girl, could you see my heart,
How fond, how true, how free art,
The warmest glances poorly do explain
The eager wish, the melting throbbing pain
Which through my very blood and soul I feel,
Which you cannot believe nor I could reveal,
Which every metaphor must render less
And yet which I could well expressÂ

Cherie Sumner,
Thanks for your valuable comments.Â
Between the lines: In this modern age of electronic text transmissions, email dispatch, Face book, community online sites, and casual relationships, it’s never been so easy to find yourself in a fragment filled fantasy relationship. An increasing number of people are satisfied with sprinklings of attention and interaction which they use to give themselves the illusion of being loved, cared for and in control because they get to avoid commitment, intimacy, and fantasy of love and despair.Â
