Eating a Friend

in your eyes I come undone
virtue pours out my skin;
like milk from a broken cistern
leaving me naked to your touch
and your every inclination
the savage in me stretches alive
primal hunger awakes
with fury and intent
who is a woman like you?
Cool as the summer moon
saturating with wisdom
and the scent of lavender
lilac and clary sage perfume
and my spirit finds such comfort
in your sweet company,
with all your pleasant words
and effervescent personality
I feel alive and free
and yet I long to
gather your body like diamonds and peals
on silken sheets
cover you with my body
open you to my sea of love
taste the flavours of your alabaster skin
Then eat you like an apple
until your ship comes in

Lol  Don Juan is in the house!  I'm no Don Juan, but thanks for saying that....I get bored easily, so if I can't find somewhat original phrasing I will probably fall asleep in the middle of writing a poem and erase it forever from my memory.....again this one is an honest attempt at humour written to amuse the one I wrote it for, I'm appreciative of your comment, cheers
