Edison and Ghandi
Edison and Ghandi
By S.L. Northey
Epically, I do declare
Monuments of deep seeded reasons
Rabbit hole that is caving in
The core so far below
A conscious mind with firm debate
Are you sure we are not digging to China
A soft shewing hush of the soul below
Move more dirt as if you care
The mind concedes with lowing dark fits
Tantrum of an only child
The soul its reasons to commit
Born a leader of its time
Edison, as Ghandi calls
Names tae the flavor of my notoriety
It isn't you He sheds his light
You are the canary that sits by Its lantern
A dead canary is only a sign
Toxic fumes that overcome a world
It is through me the real light shines
Bringing hope to enlightened gaze
Edison, stop complaining, dig more dirt
A promise I make if these walls cave in
It is me who is made from eternal
A sweet eulogy for you I will say
The Rabbit Hole much quieter now
Edison digging the dirt
Ghandi follows his compass lead
Together, they may someday find China
