Elevator

Elevator

Silent in his personal elevator
Will he go up or will he go down?
What a confusing elevator,
He only hears the sound of the ground.

Oh the elevator! Oh the elevator
Why must he be so stuck?
In his claustrophobic elevator.
Covered by dirt and rocks and muck.

What a horrid elevator.
With no music and no heat
no buttons for the floor numbers
And it has the pungent smell of meat

We have no choice, this horrid elevator
Must be at once discarded
With it’s lonely single passenger
The one so recently departed.
