Poem -

Elizabeth no more

End of an era

Today our heart felt deep sorrow
The Queen no more, a sad tomorrow
Deep emotions  and thoughts of the past
Memories to treasure and flags half mast

We mourn our queen with  hearts broken
New words by our king will now be spoken
But remember my queen so strong and wise
That we have suffered the ultimate sacrifice

Your presence, your guidance and your love
Will allays be felt from the skies above
Rest in peace and take your leave
Your loyal patrons will take time to greave
Farewell, and goodnight our mighty queen
God bless and release from the end of your reign
Until we meet again.
