Poem -

EMOTIONAL SUICIDE

I got these thoughts in my head,
Voices saying that I should be dead.
Pain from the unmendable rain.
I’m sad inside, broken on the outside.
Life gave me one hell of a ride.
Why did you have to go and switch side?
My emotions are unbalanced like the tide,
Experiencing what they call emotional suicide.
No matter where I go, or where I may hide,
The feeling will always, always reside.
My parents never gave me a guide,
For what they call emotional suicide.
It all gets better, they all lied
That’s all I heard before I died.
Not like I was actually alive inside.
