ENDEAVOUR THE SPLENDOUR

So much time to sit and ponder
I search high above
For a new found wonder
As hours pass
I reminisce
Reflect on what
Most of us miss
And what I found
Was pure bliss....

Upon a cloud with silver lining
Glimmers of hope
Are sparkling....shining....
Where promises will then descend
As golden hopes
At rainbows end

Then horizontal beams of light
Transform day
Into the night
Bronze and warm
As dusk is born
Descending sun
Sets skies alight

And indigo ignites midnight
A vast playground
For asteroids...
And satellites...
Falling stars....
And meteorites...
Comet tails splash glittering sights
Displaying delight
Upon heavens twilight

Then morning dawns
A brand new sun
Climbing the mountains
To shine upon....everyone
And fluffy white clouds
Swiftly pass me by
Dispersing across
This pale blue sky
And a fading moon
Remains as the day
Prepares for another
Spectacular display...!
