Eye opener

I don't know you
Not anymore
Did I ever?
I'm not so sureĀ

I thought I did
A long time ago
But people change
That goes to show

Or have you always been this way
Tell me is it true
That the only thing that's different
Is my perception of you

How has it taken so long to notice
That the things which make you tick
Are being a manipulative nasty racist
And a vile callous prick

I feel so sorry for you
It really is a shame
That everyone apart from you
Is guilty and to blame

So take a good look in the mirror
And see what you've become
I hope one day it sinks in
And you feel uncontrollably numb

I hope the pain starts rising
Through your body filled with dread
And whilst you think of the people you have hurt
In shame you hang your head
