Eyes of the Wild

Deep, enticing, seeking out, the hunt, the master mind of time

The eyes of the wild, dare to take each step, each flight, their sight

Keen and brilliant, like the sun in the mid day, brightest, with heats passion

Like the moonlight of a full driven moon, shining, making visible, what no human could see

The mind is filled with thoughts, of hunting, mating, surviving, and living, with every watch

The hawk, the eagle, the owl, it lurks with eyes so sharp, through their eyes we live

They watch us, they are distant, but they are interested, keeping their eyes wide open, following our every footprint

The wild calls, for it lives within us, deep down in our souls, we have their spirit

The Native American taught us to hunt, they were too, the wild, and they were taught by the wolf

Our spirits eyes breathe, for the wild, for the forest, the woods, the waters, hunger for the naked truth
