Faerie Flutter

I flit above the forest green,
over each dale and glen I flutter,
Over meadows bright and airy,
dances I, the little fairy.
In fey revelry I dance away,
Celebrating night and day,
In the waning light of the mother,
I dance to please.
I dance to save,
fluttering on my breeze.
Some see me and say,
Oh so happy are the fey.
Nay,
I dance to grow and replenish,
but the mother still diminish,
Oh woe is me,
I, in Aerie Revelry.
The power of fey lies not in heart,
nor magic,
but In the mothers power,
Alas,
Soon comes her direst hour.
My sisters and I dance,
The magic of the fey.
In despairing frenzy,
a malady in it's way.
we fright and dance,
to catch perchance,
a child in our sway,
for they care not for lust or gold,
only child can see the fey.
Innocent and pure,
in Our hearts
we dismay,
but still on we dance,
We, The Mothers Faeries.

lovely sweet write
Hi Dmitri,
So sad, I fear no matter no how fervent is their dance, that the fairest faeries cannot overcome the greed of mankind.Β As her loved ones lay dying, Mother Nature weeps for what was.
Peace and Love,
