Fate

Fate

There once was a girl who dreamed
Of making her own way.
The harder she tried the louder they cried,
Because they already knew her fate.
Still she fought determined to change fates mind.

Fate laughed in her face.
Silly girl, one has to die,
So that one can live screamed fate.
You chose, I chose, it all ends the same.
From the moment you drew air,
You were mine to do with as I please.

Now you must obey, listen closely,
Lay down your sword, lay down your life,
Or pick them up and fight.
There is no other way!
Please amuse me and decide.
