THE FINAL FLIGHT OF THE DRAGON KNIGHT

A formidable comrade
Descends to collect his prize...
The Hippocampus...
The 'Heir of Atlantis'
And the 'Princess of the Tides'...
But as this foolish soldier..
'The Army of the skies'
Preys upon this partnership...
He discovers his demise..."
Black as night
'The Dragon Knight'
Fought only for his love
His passion was to conquer
Circling her sky above....
But jealousy ran through his veins
For every day that passed
Controlling his entire soul
She was nowhere near his grasp
Thus one evening upon sunset
As he gazed on her....afar
Bewildered by her beauty
He wished upon a star....
'She shall sit upon my steed'
'And rise within thy flame'
'Leaving behind'...
'Her water kind...
'And forever hold my name'
By wind.... by rain...
That wish came
Making itself known to one....
Thus as the princess slept
The sea horse wept
As he was her guardian...
The princesses heart was pure,
Ignorant yet bold..
All any man could ever need
But most wanting her gold
The Hippocampuses duty was...
'To make this wish untold'
For if this hidden plight...
Of the Dragon Knight...
Were to eventually unfold...
He....The Hippocampus would lose
His True Love
To that world...
The sun rose early that next day
As the water horse led her away
From prying eyes
Of the Knight....in disguise
Searching for his prey
Then without delay
Total disarray...
The Knight burst through the sky!
His jealous grin
Born from sin
An alluring alibi
The Water Horse...
Threw his Tidal Force...
against
The Dragon Knight..
With all his Might.....
.....
And the Princess of Tides
Walked towards the light......
Then came her Hurricane...!
Torrential Rain..!
For the love of the Water Horse
Was where she wished to remain
Smiling as she took his reins
Eternally together they would reign
And the Dragon Knight
Was never seen again...
