Poem -
Finding Myself in the Dark
Everywhere I go I feel alone, though people are around me, they can not see
What they can not see is the real me, the one that feels empty and incomplete
Though the dark outline of my eyes, no surprise, does nothing to get my attention
I feel like I have been born just part way, fighting to go one way, and then going the other
Bipolar, maybe? Though no one has ever diagnosed me, just sitting here thinking
Drinking, crying, sighing, wondering why, I feel happy one minute, the next I think I'm dying
Finding myself in the dark, lost, alone, countless, thoughtless, who knows, maybe I am just damn perfect without mention

A very good start of a thoughtful verse, The first line itself state the situation as " Alone in the crowd" Thanks for sharing and congrats for posting. Your poems were missing at COSMO for few days, I can feel that. Post at least one dailyÂ
