Flower Of The Conflagration
Simon Bromley's Fire Challenge

Damned the door that doesn't open
And the rose that wouldn't grow
On the path of sacrifice I'd chosen
The one which left me here alone
When patience was replete with promise
And the seed inside was sown
Expanding by the stream of always
Only to devour the light I've never knownΒ
And still I burn to bleed
Behind the love I'd set ablaze
As my skin smoulders in the ashes
To conceal the conflagration
Below the surface of my rage
Fire cease! and fire return to light
Between the remnant and the ruin
So I may finally see her face
And know I did not die in vain
But only had I lived for you
