Sunshine

Sunkist paisley wing,
Fluid colors personify spring.
Flowers dot emerald grass,
Hazy rain wayward pass.

Helter-skelter babbling streams,
Currents race erratic sunbeams
Water rumor secrets to stoic stone,
Worn by incessant drone.

Buds burst forth ever-green,
Winter’s pall washed clean.
Dewdrop peppered perfume.
Sunshine enlivens gloom,

Tagging games merrily ensue,
Prisms gilded peek-a-boo.
Wind-chimes tinkle merry tune,
Harmonize with distant loon.

Rainbow arc moody veil,
Beauty pursues tinted trail.
Concave illusion multi-hues,
Solstice heralds refreshing news.

Bejeweled gems flutterby,
Thunder rumbles across sky.
Weaving bloom to bloom,
 Nectar-fat they consume.

Flora cordially share,
Aplenty sweets to spare.
Pollinate seas poppy red,
Busy bees buzz, "Get out of bed."

Lulling recital drippy-day,
Guaranteed to chase blues away.
Droplets bebop windowpane.
Laud sweetly, "Singin' in the rain."
