Fly

Staring in the window pane
Just counting drops of rain
Wondering if I've got the guts to take it
Running down my dreams in a dirty dress,
Now my heart’s a mess
Praying i will find away to make it
Searching for a sign in the night even like a lonely string of lights
That’ll burn just long enough for me to see it
The road’s been long and lonely and I feel like giving up, but
There’s more to this than just the breath I'm breathing So I'll keep on climbing, though the ground might shake
I just need to keep on reaching though the limb might break
I've come this far, I can't be scared now
'Cause I can learn to fly on the way down. I won’t forget the heavy steps it took to let it go so,
I close my eyes, count to ten, hold my breath and fly
