Flying away

When I was lying there
Wishing I was somewhere else
I floated off into the stars
I could still feel your hands covering my mouth
And I could still feel the bruises forming in my hips
But I saw the moon
I flew
I flew over the earth
I was with the stars
Alone
I flew to mars to Venus
To Saturn
And I saw my relfection
In the oceans of venus
I saw the way the stars
Shone in my eyes as I danced around mars
With the little broken pieces
Of what was once
Our world
And in saturn
I watched each moon
Gravitate around
I watched the way it went from day to night
Night to day
I watched silently
With
A blanket of stars holding me up
Heading towards the sun
I flew
I followed the stars
I told them to take me
Anywhere but earth
And we flew closer
To it
Closer
To it
We passed earth and mars
We began to feel the flames
I began to feel glow on my skin
The tragic beauty
Of a stellar collision
Heading back to the earth
As just an
Atom
Of hydrogen
Seeking another polar hydrogen
Like the water streaming down
Her face
Eyes wide open
As the bonds collide
She feels the spark in her brain ignite
She feels the bruises
She feels the blood on her wrists
She feels him
She feels him
I feel him
But he's no longer here.
