Football In Heaven

Football In Heaven

There were some differences - it never rained,
promotion to the galaxies could be gained,
the blue angels were always difficult to beat,
but the red devils could withstand the heat.

The height of the goals had to be partly raised,
so that eight feet high Martians were not fazed,
a super-galaxy league would not be allowed,
there was no money to warrant such a large crowd.

Even the numbers had to be increased from eleven,
to accommodate all the extra cherubs in heaven,
Pep Guardiola gave a sly wink at St, Michael,
after his side put a prayer right over an angel wall.

The Inter-Nebula Cup saw many a good goal,
all went well until the ball went into a black hole.
