Forging Smiles

Forging Smiles

Breath easy love
For I am building wishes with dreams
Forging smiles
From flecks of light you dropped at your feet
I place them underneath my pillow at night
So they may tend to my troubled mind
Bind all worries to my sleep
Where your rainbows thatch a canopy of playful hues
Bemused, I shall learn to unhinge the mind from all things unkind
Place my feet in your fields of wild flowers
Feel their vibrant bloom
Inhale their grace
And finally plant a smile upon my sullen face

Such a feel good poem and an intoxicatingly beautifully worded one as well.
A real humdinger of fervent joy and upliftment in every line to raise every spirit and raise more than a smile.
Gwen you have written from your wonderful soul, that rare thing of beauty we all yearn to write, a true poem of light.
Full honours for your good self  for doing so and for putting a smile on my face for the rest of the day.
And thanks for sharing your soothing balm and place of contentment.x.

Still writing masterpieces I see Gwen! I don't have much time to spend on Cosmofunnel lately. It's all work, combined with lack of inspiration. Your writing however inspires me.

Take care  - Syd x

It is indeed Tina :) it is a mother's love and desire to make the world a happy place. Even when times are bleak, children can add colour and light to our lives. My son does every day. Thanks for picking up on this my friend xx
