Freedom or Furry

Tattered past, the legacy of native men and women, now past
The peace pipe, all in smoke, the treaty broken, burnt up in a campfire
Freedom or furry, the mountains calling us home, the valleys grow in our name
The trails, and paths, of righteousness, fading in the wind, I still chant
For the chance to be free, though furry is still in my soul, driven away, from home
Let the fires burn in the darkness, let the sky speak to the wind, and the wolves
Lead their pack, the eagle will build his giant nest, and we shall rest
In peace, not in furry, for we are strong in everything, like the oak tree, we live
For hundreds of years, along the way, we shall stay, where the blood runs through
The rivers of many, the weak have gone, but many strong, will speak of the day
Freedom shall ring, among all men, our nation will never be the same
