Poem -
Getting weaker by the hour
I thought I quit
I really did
suddenly a new slit on my wrist
My scars show my strength
which doesn't add up to all that much
I'm weak and it's easy to see
It's no ones fault but mine
I swear I really am trying
to keep it together
to stay strong
But instead I'm weaker than ever
Will I be like this forever?

Always to be my pleasure, when in your presance my friend and all is well as can be expected and duel hope all that glitters, "is gold" as it pertains to you and the health, of all your loved ones? Since day one you inspired on this sight Sir Williamji sir and to this day, continue to do so,(with out skipping a beat)...Love your style of poetry and the fact that you have taken it a step further than any, to indulge in many well writtrn and read (collaborative) poems, with several high powered and well respected to this site and our hearts, (among many), poetess, i.e Nardin,(lil sis), Flowers of purple,(Flower Girl), Val. and Cherie...Very alluring group of poetess and poetic fire power, spawning from all perspectives...Thanks for the welcome back ,"My Friend." I hope its for a while.... Jim
P.s. Sir Williamji it takes a lot of heart, to open up, in the manner, in which Dana did here,(without hesitation but (with) ownership, of where she is and where she feels, she need to be, in order to feel and accept, her most comfortable point, in life)... She asked the question: "Will I be like this forever"? and i am sure she will supply herself and her poetic followers, her own (positive) answer.....
you are not weak you have overcome pain :-) but that's on the outside the inside pain can easily tip over to strength like on a mesuring scale its your choice to believe in what you want to, believe you are powerful and kind :-) and to pray to God for help along the way he makes a very good body gaurd for your soul if you accept his ways into your heart.
