goodbyes

cannot sleep wide awake
wish I could,my own fault
now memories of those gone,
were did things go wrong
grey hairs are quickly settling in
ffs no c'mon am I that old
people my age leaving to young. One died on motorbike crash leaving a son.
so many have took own lifes,
seemed so happy with their wives.
then the one who after the gym collapsing with fatal heart attack

why is life so crap?
all succesfull family people healthy too,good ones gone to soon

leaving loved ones so blue
wondering how they'd get through.
in our 40s that's not old
but seems god has told

angels to collect this generation
times up not long we know
that's why so others can grow
energies needed to keep the flow

that's what god wants us to know
you cannot escape this fate
that's the reason we all have a date
to go home to gods gate.
