GRAFFITI ON THE WALL

GRAFFITI ON THE WALL

GRAFFITI ON THE WALL
My heart was poured out
Like graffiti on the wall
Trying to speak my words
When I wasn't heard at all
It's what my heart wouldn't tell
What my mouth couldn't say
In my silence, I was telling
In my safe, silent way
My thoughts became the paint
That screamed upon the wall
My silence was breaking
Though I wasn't heard at all
I was telling the whole world
What was buried deep inside
Graffiti became my tears
When silently, I cried
Replayed in my mind
Screamed upon a wall
My silence screamed loudly
Though I made no sound at all
