Gravity

When gravity is not so grave to keep me on a surface,Â
When planet turns around too fast and I am losing purpose,
Time passes by, and days just fly, the end’s around the corner,
Then I know why I give a try to things I've never known.
I run away from grayish days in search of joy and meaning.
I open up to craving life and wish for a new beginning.
A spark of hope is enough to start another round.
Us, sailors’ wives, never know why, we follow the feeling.
We're born to trust a sea, a wind, a destiny, a man,
We're brave enough to see him off and never show a pain.
The ones who stay, who cope and wait, and keep a fire burning,
The ones who sing the lullabies, the ones who are the home.
