"Gravity" All Is Not Lost

"Gravity" All Is Not Lost

Spaced out, in time, the walk, the moon, it's brilliance shines

The sunrise just beyond, the magnificent star galaxy, the space

The world we want to know, the scientists explore, a satellite hits

The capsule of our mission, our gravity takes over, the pull and fight for life

It is the time and place to know what you are missing, was it always under foot

The earth, you miss, the child you lost, your the only survivor, now you most go back

To a place where you began, your knowledge guides you through, the shuttle will come to lite

The path you travel so far, your communication to your superiors will be with you in spirit

Now you fire up, shooting rockets of melting heat, the pathway to your home, your life, now you defeat

Landing on waters, the frogs submerge with you and swim by, you cry out loud, no one hears you

You swim the strongest swim ever known, and finally, you drift to the sand bank

Where you open your eyes to the beauty, not the sky but the earth, you grasp the sand

In your hand you feel the child, you feel your life, where you began, your journey

Succeeds only to know that your gravity was not all lost, but you found yourself at last

Gravity lifted you, now you have been grounded in the blast, know your past, but love your present
