GREEN LEAVES: WILLIAMSJI MAVELI - PIUSHA SINGH, INSPIRATIONAL POEM, DEATH IS A DOOR

  • DEATH IS A DOOR

______________________________

I strive with none, for none was worth my rivalry:

Life I cherished, and, next to nature, poetry

I washed both hands before the flames of love;

It sinks to a deep ocean; I am ready to go away

Although fatality walks beside us on Life's road,

A dim eyewitness at the body's launch

And a last sentence on man's useless plant,

Other is the puzzle of its hazy face:

Death is a door, a way to cave, an uncertain pace

The soul must carry a cross from birth to birth,

A grey overcome expectant with triumph

This was a simple and exceptional example of subtle yet agressive poetry in motion, I don't even know where to begin to review this but for now I'll say great write, by the way I wrote a poem called "A Play For You" detailing a write I plan to make in the future, I figured Id get permissions to use your name & personality a bit

Beautiful verse....

It explains all too well..that we see the "birth" and "death" all in one poem....As in life, death will knock when time is up....one cannot cheat death...as in love...one will meet the hands of time...leaving love to die, from life...

Have a great lie and writing journey :)

Love and peace

Keep smiling ;)
