Guardians of Stone

Guardians of Stone

Standing like guards

beside the ocean

surveying all

of the tidal motions

scarred by the wind

with sand by their feet

forever vigilant

but happy to greet

these soldiers of time

have stood here for years

watching the world

yet shedding no tears

a testament to life

these stone guardians

who`ll remain on duty

as beach custodians
