Heartless walls

Heartless walls

I could almost feel my life evaporating.
As I gasp for air, placing my hands on my knees to steady myself,
I’ve been running for so long
In and out of columns that never seem to end.
I could see nothing but blank walls staring at me,
Making me more and more desperate

My clothes are drenched in sweat,
My muscles are aching and pleading to rest.
My throat is dried out and my vision blurred.
But I can’t stop I must go on.
The walls of a maze can be heartless as it gives no clues.

Where to go from here? What should I do?
My lazy mind says nothing, wait for help.
But who will help me, I’m alone with these heartless walls that’s seems to be closing up with me
