Help Me See
DaylightĀ
Warm my skinĀ
Within this empty vesselĀ
Which wrestlesĀ
With a conscience so unkindĀ
It walks around blindĀ
Unable to connect with mankindĀ
So pleaseĀ
On my knees I begĀ
Heal me with the light you shed
Stitch back this broken heartĀ
Thread your light inside whatās darkĀ
I plead you seedĀ
A brand new sparkĀ
So I may feel free
To finally seeĀ
The good in meĀ

Wow Gwen. Simply fantastic poetry here. I think we can all relate to that feeling of disconnect from society, maybe us poets, being a different breed, more so than most. What matters, is that we know who we are, stand with each other and dont let others change us one bit. The beauty and freedom of life. Something to cherish. I really enjoyed this one my friend.
