HERMAN THE HERMIT

Hermit by nature

Herman by name

This crab in the sea was alone and afraid...

A new home was something he needed to seek

As the home on his back was starting to reek!

He adored his hard protective shell

But could stand it no longer...Oh what a smell!

For many years he refused to leave

But his home stunk so bad that he could hardly breathe..

So out he squirmed as he glanced left and right

He wanted to stay out of mind...out of sight!

Scurrying across the cool ocean bed

He searched high and low hoping this news wouldn't spread

Finally he spotted a shiny round shell

Poked his head in and thought to himself..."oh well"

It's not quite the same as the last place I had

But spacious and clean I'll make this my new pad

So once again Herman was safe and sound

Living alone with no one around...
