HIDDEN JEWEL (Part 2...Rock Bottom)

HIDDEN JEWEL (Part 2...Rock Bottom)

Upon a pause the pending ends
Quick slips through rapids
where the cascade bends.

Another dawn, returns once more
Unlike no other
Today I'm reborn!

Sincere smiles succumb
to a long lost face
which had been misplaced
No longer am I numb.

My pebble was foundĀ
in a place so profound
where rock bottom greets my feet
safe and sound.

On higher ground
overlooking that pool
where I lost my pebble
my hidden jewel
I can finally see
the drowning fool.
