Holiness...

Before there was a star
Before there was a molecule
Before there was an atom
There was a GOD...
Elohim the self existing one
Existing without a mother
Without a father
Without descent
Way before Love
Way before Hate
Way before the creation of Heaven's pearly gate
There He was... In nothing
Darkness covered the earth
Nothing else beside Him... Except...
Him and His Holiness
No unholy thing
No angels created yet, to sing
He was God almighty, a HOLY God
And all He wanted was His creation to be Holy
So He created the four cherubims and put a song in their moths
And they sang unto Him "Holy, Holy, Holy"
He created six wings for them
Two with which to fly
Two to covere their faces
For none could look upon His Holiness
And two with which to cover their bodies
For even Angels that were born and bred in heaven
Are filthy in His sight
No unclean thing can stand boldly in His light
Then man came... Fallen beasts that they are
And in their lawlessness
Portrayed immorality, profanity and bathed in sinful insanity
And to look upon their filth, grieved Him so
He was angered to see humanity stoop so low
And judgement came...
His judgement, was His Holiness, in action against sin
His Holiness brought Him down to the Garden of Eden
...And Holiness walked in the midst of the garden
In the cool of the day
And the creatures could hear Him call out and say
"Adam, Adam, where art thou?"
And sin hid from Holiness that day
And when He had found Him, and His sin had been revealed
The serpent's doom was sealed
"On thy belly thou shalt go"
And He who once was a man, became a slithering curse
And his fate to follow, became much worse
But to His children He had turned
They had broken His Holiness
Judgement had to prevail
Nothing would've stopped it, not even Esau's tears and a wail
But in His judgement, He remembered mercy
For His Love had a song also, and it was "Grace, Grace, Grace"
So He had punished them, and chastised them and banished from the garden
But against them, His heart was not hardened
He forgave them, and let them live
Knowing that one day His only Son
Through his gruesome death,
Would humbly choose to save them and to serve
And all this started with God, existing with...
His Holiness
