Homeland

Under the surface, a suffocating violence
A fire which breathes without a flame
Like a murmur trapped in the comber of silence
This recrudescence, always mindful of its way
And I've been searching the depths of my soul
To find comfort in my own death
I've let go, to discover that annihilation is exquisite
Once you have learned to capitulate within yourself
For almost my entire life, I've been waiting
Only to evince, what I've always feared to know
How my longing would lead to my resignation
And all along I've been setting the bedrock to my abode
And I can't wait to abandon this vessel
To procure my place in death
Where I can amplify the wallsΒ
In accordance to my will, my intention
As the music soothes me back into bed
And there's a garden of pullulating flowers
Of colours I have never seen
I gather and relay them by the window
As I stare out into the illuminating fields
And it's so beautiful, I never want to go back
Just to die alone again
In denouement of a slowly decaying dream
