Poem -

Homeward Bound.

For i the bells toll.
As i am lowered into an earthly hole.
All around loved ones cry.
Under a dark depressing winter sky.
Into mother earth i am laid.
And for my soul the preacher prayed.
I lived a life of fun and love.
Always believed in a heaven above.
Now my soul is heading there.
And to the creator my love i will bare.
Do wish me luck on my journey homeward bound.
A place for eternal life my soul has found.
