Poem -

How are you?

How are you?

It's when I'm alone that I feel worst,
so I go to therapy.
And when I start talking is when I burst,
I still don't get clarity.

My head is spinning with thoughts,
and they're not positive.
Then my brain gets tied up in knots,
my mind is closeted.

I don't know how to solve this anymore,
so I cut myself.
I told them I wouldn't - I swore...

How are you yourself?

Resonated...love that last line...it speaks of the utter defeat that the black place brings
...remembering life and the living as an afterthought...x

Thank you so much for your comment! Yeah, I wrote this during the worst time of my deppression, so it's basically my feelings written into a poem <3

Thank you so much Tony! It was written as a way to tell people what I really feel, when they ask "how are you?". I always answered "I'm fine" or something of the like, when I actually really wanted to yell out "I'm not okay".
Oh, and both brother and sister is fine, I'm genderfluid :) <3
